The ChooseLISD Round 1 application window is now open for Choice and Out of District Transfer students. 

Note: No application is required for students attending their zoned campus.

Longview ISD is a School of Choice district that provides access to high-quality, best-fit school options for all students, by providing a fair and equitable enrollment system that allows families to “Choose” which school meets their child/family’s needs.

     •  Zoned students are those students who live within the LISD attendance boundaries and attend their zoned campus.

     •  Choice students are those students who live within the LISD attendance boundaries and choose to attend a campus other than their zoned campus.

     •  Out-of-District Transfer students are those students who do not live within the LISD attendance boundaries, but have been approved by LISD Admin to attend an LISD campus. (State law requires that all Out-of-District transfer students must reapply for the next school year.)

Choose LISD Applications for Round 1
     •  Opens in March and closes in April 
     •  All Choice and Out-of-District Transfer students may apply.
     •  Current Hudson PEP students and those applying to attend Hudson PEP should not apply in Round 1.

Choose LISD Applications for Round 2
     •  Opens in May and closes in June
     •  All Choice students and Out-of-District Transfer Students may apply.
     •  All Returning Hudson PEP students, and all NEW Hudson Pep students who have received a letter from Longview ISD stating that they qualify to apply should apply in Round 2.

Skyward Registration
     •  Opens in July 
     •  Registration is required for all students (Zoned, Choice, and Out-of-District Transfers)
